Aaron Judge made history by hitting his 50th home run for the fourth time, matching a major league record. The New York Yankees slugger smashed a crucial three-run homer against the Chicago White Sox in the second inning on Wednesday night, giving his team a 3-1 lead. Judge’s impressive feat puts him in elite company with only Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa as the other players to achieve four 50-homer seasons.

As a two-time AL MVP, the 33-year-old Judge leads the MLB in batting average (.326) and OPS (1.130) while racking up 108 RBIs. His remarkable performance continues to solidify his status as one of baseball’s most dominant hitters.

Meanwhile, Seattle Mariners’ Cal Raleigh also made headlines with his 59th and 60th home runs of the season in a game against the Colorado Rockies. The left-handed batter showcased his power with solo shots in the first and eighth innings, further cementing his place as a top home run hitter in the league.

With four games left in the season, Raleigh is on track to challenge Aaron Judge’s single-season home run record in the American League, set at 62 homers in 2022. The young slugger recently surpassed franchise legend Ken Griffey Jr.’s record and also broke records for switch-hitters and catchers with his impressive home run tally this season.

Raleigh’s outstanding performance has put him ahead of other power hitters like Kyle Schwarber and Shohei Ohtani in the home run race, highlighting his emergence as a formidable force in MLB’s power-hitting landscape.
