Rush has announced additional tour dates across Canada for their highly anticipated reunion. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have revealed that they will be visiting 17 more cities as part of next year’s concert series, scheduled to kick off in June and run until the end of the year.
The newly added locations include Montreal on September 2, 2026, as well as Edmonton on December 10 and Vancouver on December 15. Among the other cities on the expanded “Fifty Something” tour itinerary are Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Atlanta, Seattle, and Tampa, Florida.
Following the sell-out success of their previously announced dates, which featured four nights in Toronto, Rush has opened ticket sales to the general public for the upcoming shows. Tickets will be available starting on October 31 after several presale events commencing on Thursday.
This tour marks Rush’s return to live performances since the monumental R40 tour in 2015 and the passing of their drummer Neil Peart in 2020 due to an aggressive form of brain cancer. German drummer Anika Nilles will be taking over for Peart on the upcoming tour.
In a YouTube video released on Monday, Lee and Lifeson expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support received for the initial dates and cautioned fans about ticket scalpers taking advantage of the high demand. They encouraged fans to purchase tickets only through authorized channels such as Ticketmaster or the Rush website to avoid inflated prices from resellers.
