Crews were busy on Monday evening removing a vehicle that had smashed through the front window of Zehrs on Malden Road earlier in the day. The LaSalle Police Service is actively investigating the incident.
The police swiftly responded to the situation after 2:30 p.m., as per an official news release on the Town of LaSalle website. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that a vehicle had plowed through the front window of the establishment and ended up inside the store.
One individual from the store was transported to the hospital; however, the specifics of their injuries were not disclosed by the police. Despite the accident, the store continued to remain open, as stated by the authorities.
