“Health Canada Recalls Zwilling Electric Kettles Over Burn Risk”

Share

A line of Zwilling electric kettles is being recalled by Health Canada due to potential burn hazards. The recall pertains to Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity. Approximately 43,963 of these kettles were distributed in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

Health Canada has highlighted that the handle of the kettle could become loose or detach completely while in use. This defect might lead to hot water spilling from the kettle, posing a scalding risk to users and nearby individuals, especially children.

As of May 13, 2026, the company has received 21 incident reports and one potential injury report in Canada. Health Canada advises consumers to discontinue using the affected kettles immediately and request a refund by visiting the dedicated recall registration page.

For additional details, consumers can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also urges individuals facing safety concerns with the product to report any incidents through their official channel.
