A tragic incident unfolded in Ottawa’s Overbrook neighborhood as a child lost their life following a collision with a truck on Wednesday afternoon. According to initial responders, the Ottawa police received the distress call at approximately 3:40 p.m. near Lola Street on Presland Road.
Reports from paramedics to CBC revealed that the victim, a child under 10 years old, was struck by a dump truck. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by on-site officers, the child succumbed to the injuries at the hospital, as confirmed by the police.
