Recently, the 25-year-old from Moncton celebrated a significant milestone by clinching her first Crystal Globe victory at the 2025 ISU Short Track World Tour circuit, securing a silver in the 1,500-meter final and becoming the first Canadian woman to achieve this feat.

In the male category, William Dandjinou from Sherbrooke, Quebec, claimed his second consecutive world title, while Team Canada triumphed in the team event, securing their third Crystal Globe. Sarault expressed her pride in the Canadian team’s accomplishments, emphasizing the strength of Canada in the sport.

Preparations are underway for Sarault’s anticipated selection to represent Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, marking her second Olympic appearance. The forthcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Games hold special significance for Sarault as her family, including her father, former professional hockey player Yves Sarault, will be present to cheer her on. Reflecting on her journey, Sarault considers her past challenges, including a concussion and physical recovery obstacles in 2024, as integral to her growth and resilience. She views these adversities as catalysts that have strengthened her resolve and mental fortitude, shaping her into a more resilient athlete ready to tackle any obstacle.

Looking ahead to Milano Cortina 2026, Sarault eagerly anticipates embracing the Olympic spirit, aiming to make her mark and secure coveted medals for Canada.
