Toronto Sceptres’ player, Daryl Watts, was recognized for her outstanding performance in December as she secured a spot in the PWHL’s starting lineup. The accolades are awarded to the top three forwards, two defense players, and one goalkeeper based on their gameplay in the preceding month.
Watts showcased her talent by contributing points in five out of seven games throughout December. Among her achievements was scoring four goals, including a crucial game-winning goal in Toronto’s victory against Montreal last weekend.
Joining Watts in the spotlight are forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield and Britta Curl-Salemme from the Minnesota Frost. The defensive standouts for the month were Megan Keller and Haley Winn of the Boston Fleet, while Aerin Frankel, also from Boston Fleet, was recognized as the top goalkeeper.
