“Oilers Goalie Jarry Placed on Injured Reserve”

The Edmonton Oilers have placed goalie Tristan Jarry on the injured reserve list, as announced by the NHL team on Friday. Jarry exited the game against Boston on Thursday night during the second period after swiftly moving from left to right in an attempt to make a save.

Jarry’s placement on injured reserve follows his recent acquisition from the Penguins, along with forward Sam Poulin, in exchange for goalie Stuart Skinner, defenseman Brett Kulak, and a 2029 second-round draft pick. Despite winning all three games he started for Edmonton post-trade, Jarry has recorded a 3.08 goals-against average and an .887 save percentage during this period.

To fill Jarry’s spot, the Oilers have called up goalie Connor Ingram from the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League to serve as backup to Calvin Pickard, who made 12 saves in relief during the last game.

Additionally, forward Jack Roslovic has been moved to long-term injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury sustained in the game against Dallas on November 25. Roslovic was enjoying a successful season with 10 goals and eight assists in 23 games before his injury.

The Oilers are set to play against the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon.
