The Norfolk OPP crime unit is leading the investigation in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto, supported by the OPP Forensic Identification Services.
Authorities have reassured the public that there is no known danger to the community, but advise individuals to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious behavior to the police as a precautionary measure. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Monday as part of the ongoing investigation.
