“Police seek 5 suspects in Dufferin Mall jewelry store robbery”

Five suspects are being sought by the police following a robbery at a jewelry store in Dufferin Mall on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 7:20 pm when five individuals with masks entered the store and stole items, as reported by Toronto police on social media. Two of the suspects were armed with hammers during the robbery.

The Michael Hill store at Dufferin Mall was the target of the incident, confirmed by the mall’s marketing manager, Darren Neely, in a statement to CBC. The suspects allegedly broke the store’s display cases but no injuries were recorded.

After the robbery, the suspects fled the mall in a dark-colored vehicle. The investigation is currently ongoing, with Dufferin Mall cooperating with law enforcement in the inquiry.
