“Prince George Turns 13: New Photo Released”

Share

Prince George celebrated his 13th birthday on Wednesday, and Kensington Palace marked the occasion by sharing a new photograph of the young royal. The image, unveiled on X’s platform, captures Prince George, the son of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, looking relaxed in a dark suit paired with an open-collar white shirt, with his hands casually tucked into his pockets. Photographer Matt Porteous snapped the picture during last month’s Trooping the Colour ceremony, as reported by the BBC.

As the grandson of King Charles, Prince George holds the second position in line for the throne, following his father. Growing older, he has embraced more public duties and even assisted his father in serving meals at a homeless shelter in London last December. Prince George is set to join the prestigious Eton College in September, following in his father’s footsteps.

Being the eldest of three siblings, Princess Charlotte, aged 11, and Prince Louis, aged eight, Prince George received numerous birthday wishes. Kensington Palace expressed gratitude for the well-wishes on social media, sharing a video showcasing Prince George engaging in outdoor activities like hiking, boating, and playing cricket on the beach.
