“Road Rage Clash in North Vancouver Leaves One Critical”

A serious road rage incident occurred in North Vancouver, B.C. over the weekend, leaving one individual in critical condition, as per the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The incident, which involved a dispute over merging, took place near Boulevard Crescent and East 21st Street around 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to a statement released by the RCMP on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses informed the authorities that a person in a white Jeep got out of their vehicle during the altercation and was hit by a grey Subaru. The driver of the Subaru was taken into police custody, while the injured individual was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, the RCMP confirmed.

The suspect involved in the incident is currently facing various charges, although specific details have not been disclosed by the police. The RCMP mentioned that the suspect was released under certain stipulations set by law enforcement.

Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, the media relations officer for the North Vancouver RCMP, described the event as traumatic for witnesses and stated that the victim’s condition would influence the charges as the investigation proceeds. The RCMP is urging anyone with information or video recordings of the incident to reach out to them promptly if they have not already done so.
