Shiffrin Wins Record 9th Levi Slalom

American skier Mikaela Shiffrin showcased her dominance in the Alpine Ski World Cup season opener in Finland by securing a commanding victory in the slalom race. Shiffrin, aged 30, outperformed her competitors with exceptional speed on both runs, clinching her ninth triumph in Levi and marking her 102nd World Cup win.

On her 19th birthday, Albanian Lara Colturi claimed the second spot, while German skier Emma Aicher achieved her first career World Cup slalom podium by finishing third. Unfortunately, Canadian skiers Sarah Bennett, Kiki Alexander, Arianne Forget, Amelia Smart, and Ali Nullmeyer did not progress to the second run.
