The team is set to face the undefeated Sweden in a Group A match at the Sport and Wellness Centre in Membertou, N.S.
Canada and Sweden currently hold the top spots in Group A with flawless 2-0 records, while Switzerland and Hungary stand at 0-2. Megan Mossey contributed significantly with two goals and two assists during the match, where Canada outshot Hungary 74-11 and established a commanding 4-0 lead by the end of the first period, extending it to 11-0 by the third.
Additional goals for Canada were scored by Caileigh, Alida Korte, Sofia Ismael, Rachel Piggott, Madison Levesque, and Kendall Doiron. Anais Leprohon, Aurora Matt, and Ismael each provided three assists.
