This star-studded lineup will feature other music icons such as Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. Additionally, the show will include performances by Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, all in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
Hugh Evans, the co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen, described the event as a historic gathering of artists for a cause, comparable to Live Aid. This initiative aims to raise $100 million for children’s education and sports programs worldwide.
This performance marks Bieber’s return to the stage following his recent appearances at Coachella and the Grammy Awards. The World Cup Final is scheduled for July 19 at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.
