Known for preserving the secrecy of his personal life, Carrey has kept details about his enigmatic new wife, who is reportedly 32 years old – exactly half his age, under wraps. Speculations suggest that the couple has been in a relationship for a few years, with images emerging from a benefit show in 2022 showing them together.
The intimate wedding ceremony between Carrey and Min Ah took place in Los Angeles, as per TMZ reports. Although his spokesperson confirmed the marriage to CBC News, no further comments were provided. This marks Carrey’s third venture into matrimony.
Carrey was previously wed to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1993, with whom he shares a daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, who was present at the César Film Awards alongside Min Ah and Carrey’s grandson, Jackson. His second marriage to Lauren Holly, his co-star in “Dumb and Dumber,” ended in divorce within a year. Carrey also had a romantic involvement with Renee Zellweger after working together on “Me, Myself, and Irene” in 1999, referring to her as his “last great love” in his book “Memoirs and Misinformation” two decades later.
