CBS Media Ventures unveiled a preview on Thursday for “Adam’s Law,” a fresh syndicated daytime courtroom series featuring Adam Levy, the 58-year-old son of the renowned Judge Judy. If you admire Judge Judy’s sharp humor and no-nonsense stance, you’re in for a treat as Levy seems to embody the same vigor in the courtroom, delivering witty and incisive remarks reminiscent of his mother.
Despite initial reluctance, Judge Judy admitted in the trailer that she was not keen on passing the torch earlier, stating she wasn’t prepared to relinquish her position. She humorously expressed concern that her son’s talent might surpass hers, jokingly adding that she disliked the idea of being outdone.
The upcoming series, executive produced by Judge Judy herself, is scheduled to launch on September 14. It marks the return of courtroom reality TV after the conclusion of the original “Judge Judy” show, which enjoyed a successful 25-season run and garnered a massive following, averaging 10 million viewers per episode.
Adam Levy, with over 25 years of legal experience and a background as a district attorney in New York, emphasized the importance of honesty for litigants appearing on “Adam’s Law.” Judge Judy expressed her confidence in her son’s abilities, predicting that his show will become a top-rated daytime program, resonating with viewers as she has for three decades.
