General manager and president of hockey operations Steve Staios expressed disappointment in the fabricated stories and emphasized the importance of respecting Ullmark’s privacy. The statement further condemned external forces attempting to disrupt the team and aimed to quash the unfounded speculations that had gained traction online. Team captain Brady Tkachuk and other Senators players voiced their support for Ullmark following the initial announcement. The team has not provided an estimated timeframe for Ullmark’s return.
