A fatal accident occurred on Highway 3 in Kingsville, resulting in the death of a 39-year-old LaSalle man. The incident took place shortly after midnight on Tuesday in the vicinity of Cottam, between Cameron Side Road and Marsh Road, as reported by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The deceased was driving an SUV, which collided head-on with a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 24-year-old woman, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the collision and urged any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage to come forward.
Following the accident, the affected section of the highway has been reopened for traffic.
