The London Sports Hall of Fame is set to introduce a new group of six individuals on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Hellenic Community Centre. This year’s inductees have collectively achieved over 20 gold medals or world titles on the international stage, a significant accomplishment for the community. The Hall of Fame committee chair, Jay Minielly, expressed pride in the achievements of this year’s class and anticipates continued success from future inductees.

Among the 2025 inductees are notable figures such as Jeff Carter, a renowned NHL all-star and Olympic gold medalist, Maggie Mac Neil, an accomplished Olympic and world champion swimmer, Jennifer Ogg, a world champion boxer, Darda Sales, a multi-sport Paralympic champion, David Willsie, a five-time Paralympian and former captain of Canada’s wheelchair rugby team, and Murray Young, a distinguished rugby organizer in Ontario.

Additionally, the event will recognize the recipients of the city’s 2025 Spirit of Sport awards. Jennifer Ogg, a London-based boxing champion and world amateur titleholder, expressed gratitude for the recognition and credited her coaches and family for their support throughout her boxing journey.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at the Hellenic Community Centre on Southdale Road. The event will include a meet-and-greet at 5:00 p.m. followed by the formal program at 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be obtained through the London Sports Council website.
