Reschny reminisced about watching the tournament at Christmas with his brothers and father, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to now compete in the same age group. In the game, Michael Misa, Sam O’Reilly, Porter Martone, and Cole Beaudoin each contributed with a goal and an assist for Canada, while Tij Iginla and Brady Martin also found the back of the net. Jack Ivankovic stood tall in goal with 21 saves, supported by Zayne Parehk and Keaton Verhoeff who each provided two assists.
