The Toronto International Film Festival is attracting film enthusiasts and celebrities to Canada’s largest city. The 51st edition of TIFF will run for 11 days until September 20, showcasing nearly 300 films and featuring renowned actors such as Javier Bardem, Cynthia Erivo, and Seth Rogen. On Day 6, the Canadian premiere of “Ink,” directed by Danny Boyle, took place at TIFF’s Princess of Wales Theatre. The film, starring Guy Pearce, Jack O’Connell, and Claire Foy, delves into Rupert Murdoch’s ascent with The Sun newspaper and its impact on tabloid culture. Actor Anna DÃaz graced the red carpet during the North American premiere of “Hombre al agua” at Scotiabank Theatre, while Diego Luna waved to fans at the same event.
Moving back to Day 5, notable figures like Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz attended the premiere of the psychological thriller “Bunker” at Roy Thomson Hall. Director Hirokazu Kore-eda also made an appearance at the premiere of his film “Look Back,” exploring the creative journey of two manga artists.
