Madison Beer, the singer-songwriter famous for tracks like “Make You Mine” and “Selfish,” has recently announced her engagement to Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, solidifying her status as a pop music royalty. The couple shared delightful snapshots on Instagram, showcasing their joy in a garden setting. In one photo, Herbert is down on one knee while Beer beams beside him, captioning the moment simply as “meet my fiancé.”
Notable personalities like singer Gracie Abrams and major entities such as Apple Music have extended their well wishes under the post. Playfully, one comment quips about Herbert getting a ring before winning a championship ring, as he joined the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020.
The Chargers also joined the celebration by reposting images from the engagement on their social media platforms with the caption “JH+MB 4EV.” The Grammy-nominated pop star, 27, and the 28-year-old quarterback commenced their relationship within the past year.
Their public debut as a couple was last August when Herbert was spotted visiting Beer on the set of one of her music videos. They are now positioned as a dynamic musician-athlete duo, akin to high-profile pairs like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen.
Beer has been a supportive presence at Chargers games, while Herbert even appeared in the music video for her track “lovergirl” from her latest album “locket deluxe,” released in May. Herbert is gearing up for his seventh season with the Chargers as he returns to the field for training camp starting Wednesday.
