American online fitness influencer Connor Murphy, who had over 2.3 million subscribers on YouTube, tragically passed away in a drowning incident in Thailand as reported by local sources. Authorities responded to reports of a man behaving erratically in the Bang Phli district of Samut Prakan province. Upon police arrival, the man, identified as Murphy, entered a lake in the area known for luxury resorts. He swam until he seemed exhausted and disappeared underwater. Rescue divers recovered his body after a 30-minute search and transported him to the hospital for further examination.

The U.S. State Department confirmed the death of an American citizen in Samut Prakan on July 7 without disclosing Murphy’s identity, providing consular support to the family. Murphy, aged 32, was part of an online community termed “looksmaxxers,” dedicated to enhancing physical appearance, sometimes resorting to surgeries and self-harm to alter their looks.
